Hold the ehmber and talk; let go when you're done. Speech turns into text on your device, and you can always type instead. On iPad, the iPhone Duo and iPhone in landscape, the stream and the open note sit side by side.
The one question
One question, at most
If a thought sounds like something to do and you didn't say when, Ehmber asks once, out loud: when you next see them, or on a day? Answer, tap a choice, or stay silent and it's simply kept. It learns what you pick and asks less over time.
Returns
It comes back when it should
On the day you named, or the morning you're meeting the person it's about, because Ehmber reads your calendar and never writes to it. Returned notes wait at the top under Back to you, with Done and Later.
Heat, not folders
Rekindle, act, or release
Notes stay warm while you touch them and cool when you don't, and nothing is ever deleted for you. Once a week, Ehmber shows you a few cooling notes and asks what to do with each, a two-minute ritual that keeps the pile from forming.
