VitalCast, Your health, explained
Your watch knows what. VitalCast knows why.
Last night drawn as a ring from your own heart rate, every score with its arithmetic, and one tap at the end of the day that tomorrow shows what it did to your sleep and HRV. Your records from every health system stay on one timeline. No account, computed on your iPhone.
iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo
Your night, drawn as a ring
Readiness is measured against your own normal and drawn from last night's heart rate: the ring bursts where your heart rate moved while you slept and stays quiet where you slept steadily. As it draws in each morning, a light tap marks each burst, and the four signals that moved your score sit around it.
Every score shows its arithmetic
Explained, every time
Your normal is 70, and each signal adds or takes points from there, line by line, with the research behind it. Health overview reads every Apple Watch metric against your usual range, each with its source.
Against your own nights only
What helps, what hurts
Thirty one-tap tags, from the widget, your Apple Watch, Siri or the app. After five days with the same tag, VitalCast compares the mornings that followed with all the others: HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, sleep efficiency and deep sleep, with the honest answer "no clear difference" when that is what the data says.
In plain words
Your week, briefed
The briefing is written from your own numbers, with a Why this under every line. A tag on yesterday becomes context in this morning's read, like "resting heart rate ran high, you noted alcohol."
Still the records app
Every health system, one timeline
Labs, medications, conditions and allergies from every connected health system, the same lab value charted across providers and years, and appointment prep from your own records. Where your report printed a reference range, that range is shown, labeled as your lab's own.
On your wrist and your Lock Screen
Sleep, trends and Live Activities
Sleep scored and explained, four-week trends against your baseline, a caffeine countdown and Rest Mode as Live Activities, and the same ring on Apple Watch. Works with Apple Watch, and with Oura, Garmin, Whoop and Withings data that flows through Health.

Honest by default
On your iPhone. The cloud is a switch.
Everything is computed on your iPhone. Deeper analysis on Apple's Private Cloud Compute is one switch, off until you turn it on, and it receives the computed numbers, never your raw Health data. Every card says where it was worded.
